'Proof of Concept - Product Ideas'

I don't know about you, but myself, personally I get ideas running through my head constantly.

Product ideas, ways to improve my current products and services. Maybe you do the same thing. Maybe you don't, regardless there is one method that won't empty your bank account but may take up some of your time.

Before I begin talking about proof of concept I want to make sure you have a concept! A product idea or service. If you don't, I don't know how many times I can tell you read "Million Dollar Idea Generator!" by Jeff Gardner! If you don't have an idea after reading this book I don't know what else to do for you!

So, hopefully you have a vague idea for a product or service. But, how, how do you know if you can make money with your idea? Simple, proof of concept.

It's very simple. You don't need to create the product, all you have to do is have an idea in your head as to what you want it to cover. Don't worry, along the way you will think of things you never thought of before if you follow these steps.

1. Think of a Product or service idea
2. Find your target market
3. Write a sales letter outlining the product and how it will benefit your customers
4. Setup an autoresponder

Think of a Product or Service idea

This is the easiest and hardest part! Ideas come to us at the dumbest times, in the shower, driving to work, eating dinner... etc. Don't sit around trying to think of something, it rarely works!

I always keep a pen and paper handy incase I get an idea. How do you think I thought of this article? No I wasn't sitting here staring at the screen, I was in my car on the freeway!

Find your target market

This shouldn't be too difficult. What does your idea do? Explain to people how to make more money doing something? Help them get in shape? Maybe lose some weight. It really doesn't matter. Since I only use Ezine and Pay Per Click advertisments, I simply use the keywords that are popular and for ezines just find some that are in your target market!

Go to google and type in "weight loss ezine" or "make money ezine" that's it! You will find an ezine quickly and easily with this technique.

Write a sales letter outlining the product and how it will benefit your customers.

There is simply a ton of information out there free and paid that you can find about writing a sales letter. Read some of my other articles about writing sales letters. This is the EASY part!

Setup an autoresponder

Again, this is really straightforward. I recommend using Autoresponse Plus. It doesn't matter which one you use, just set one up with one or two emails that thank the person for their interest in your unreleased book!

So what are we doing?

By now you might be wondering "ok, what in the world are we doing?" Simple, all you are doing is seeing if there is an interest in your target market for your idea. All you want to do is collect email addresses to see how many people sign up for more information compared to the number of people that visited your website.

You don't want to blatlently tell people that the product is not out yet, you want to ask them if they want more information on it. Which then is explained in the autoresponder.

So, now you should have an idea if your idea is a winner or not. If it is, write it and send an email to the thousands(hopefully) of people that signed up for your autoresponder and watch your sales go through the roof!
