Cross Selling - Your Last Ditch Effort

Let's assume for a minute you have a direct sales website. You have the same "Buy, Lead or Leave" approach. But, what do you do for the people who don't want to signup for your autoresponder, order or want to hear from you ever again?

Cross Sell Them!

To Cross sell you need either a product or affiliate program that is similar if not nearly identical to what you are trying to sell.

If you are trying to sell "10 Tips to save on lawyer fees" you can parrallel sell "5 ways to win a lawsuite." What you need to do is simply have your website pop-up on exit the other program.

If the visitor has already qualified for your market then they will qualify for the other product.

You can even use a competitors product as long as you are making commission, it doesn't matter! If the visitor didn't signup for your responder, order and was going to leave, why not at least take a last ditch effort?

The first time I tested Cross selling I wasn't sure what to expect, if any results. I soon came to find out that it increased my frontend profits by 37% in a matter of hours after trying it!

Once again this shows it's the little things in marketing that make the difference!
