Opt In Email Marketing

Opt In Email Marketing

Part Two

By: Marty Fiegl

I want to talk about how you can get the most out of your opt in email list.

Ok, Let's first talk about how the series of messages should go out.

1. Thank You for subscribing
2. Tip/course day 1
3. Tip/course day 2
4. Tip/course day 3
5. Endorse another related product or service
6. Free ebook or something for still staying subscribed
7. Ask them what is stopping them from ordering
8. Give them one last chance.
9. Follow up 4-7 days later with other ads.

What you want to do for your course or tips is give them information and remind them about your product in your P.S. DO NOT try to sell them over and over, they will just leave!

Once you give someone something valuable to them, in this case information they are more likely to feel they NEED to buy your product or service. Of course if your product or service is any good :)

Now, it's very important that you look at the 3rd responder message. You should be able to find a product or service that will compliment yours or is similiar that they may be interested in. If they stuck it out until day 3 they are interested. Try to SOFT SELL them something through an endorsement. Do not try to hard sell them and tell them they must get this great thing. They don't care. Tell them that you personally recommend and use it and how it helped you and can help them change their life or whatever. Get the idea?

Throughout my series of messages I also like to tell the prospect "If you stick around until part 5 you will get .... that will help you....." get the picture?

Force them to read your emails! If you offer a freebie that's good, this will work and they will be waiting for your emails, you've got them hooked!

By day 7 you should be able to ask them why they haven't purchased your product or service and this is do or die. Tell them it's their last chance at this phenomenol price. If they don't buy, you can do this a few more times (tell them the price went back up in the next email.)

Then after that only send them an email about every 4-7 days asking how they are and offering them other offers.
